援引Business Insider报道，TikTok潜在竞争者Triller涉嫌夸大月活跃用户数。上月，Triller宣布其月活跃用户数量超过1亿，吸引了包括Charli D'Amelio在内的诸多TikTok主播和明星。在接受记者Dan Whateley采访时，6名前员工对这些数字提出了异议，认为根据他们在公司的经历，Triller公布的数字是不真实的。
早在去年10月，Triller就表示其月活跃用户已达到1300万，应用下载量达到6000万。不过在提供给外媒Business Insider的分析图表截图中却显示除了不同的信息，iOS的月活跃用户只有200万，Android上的月活跃用户只有48.4万。这是该公司公开宣布之后几周拍摄的。
