据外媒报道，在英国竞争和市场管理局(CMA)发现许多公司和网红之间的商业安排并没有完全对外公开后，Instagram发现自己陷入了困境。据悉，消费者法规要求商业广告必须提供明确的标识。然而CMA的一项调查发现，这种情况并不经常发生。

但是，英国CMA的一项调查发现，大多数时候，社交媒体网红并没有对自己的商业行为做出明确的标识。同时，CMA也认为Facebook旗下的Instagram在解决这个问题上还不够。为避免因不遵守消费者法而被起诉，Instagram做了一些调整。
首先，Instagram会提示用户他们是否被付费或以某种物质刺激的方式去帮助推广一种产品或服务。如果是，该社交网络将会要求用户公开这一点。
其次，Instagram正在让它的“付费合作”工具对所有用户开放，让任何人都可以更容易地在其帖子的顶部显示一个标签以此披露一项商业协议。
